I'm quite sure that the date of the "Year Unknown" group photograph is the winter of 1950-'51, our eighth grade. I am NOT yet in the group and I joined you March 1, 1951. Conversely, Don Gift IS in the picture and he joined the class only shortly before I did.

You remember the videotape that Rose and Bob produced for our class. It currently contains motion picture footage taken at our 1990 and 1995 gatherings. We need volunteers for two efforts:

July 31 has come and gone and leaving us with 45 participants for the Class Reunion August 27 and 28. This number represents 26 classmates, an encouraging response given that there are 33 individuals pictured in the graduating composite photo and five of those are deceased. Arithmetic notwithstanding, be assured that all those who volunteered are diligently preparing to make this celebration a memorable occasion.

If you have a digital format picture, just email it me. You may submit a picture of just you, you and your spouse, or you and family members. As I set here looking at all the pictures and reading what the teachers had to say about us and thinking of all the good times we had. We are special.There is only 28 people on this whole planet that can say they graduated from DCHS in 1955. You are one of 28 and that number will never get any bigger, just smaller. We have a winner! Clarence and Coleen have correctly identified what our class gave the school. The gift was a new mimeograph machine, a Gestetner 120. This was recorded in the senior issue of the Mustang Review.
